Movie night – What we do in the shadows

I’m not sure if Mugen’s already talked about this. I think so, but I’m not sure. Either way, don’t care, I’m going to show it to you anyway!

What we do in the shadows was our movie of choice for last night’s dinner time. Pasta salad, a good movie and Milka chocolate, what more could we ask for?

Anyway, if you haven’t watched it, you totally should. It’s freaking hilarious.

The movie is a mockumentary about 4 vampire roommates (because, apparently, even if you are granted the gift of immortality, you’ll have to share rent and chores) and their daily living. They have the usual disagreements about the dishes, they have to clean the house, and, of course, they go clubbing and looking for dinner, all whilst using the usual vampire perks of flying (more of hovering), mesmerizing people, turning into animals, not having a reflection and… hummm… hissing?…

The vampires are Viago, Vladislav, Deacon, Petyr (I thought his name was Peter all along. It would be a great name for an 8000 year old vampire, wouldn’t it?) and, along the way, they are joined in by Nick who is somewhat between over his head and head over heels about the whole being a newly made vampire thing.

With Nick comes a human that will revolutionize their lives. Seriously, though, Stu is great!

And, if you’re really not into vampires, don’t fret, this movie features the strangest group of werewolves you’ll ever see. They don’t swear, you know? They’re werewolves, not swearwolves.

So, here’s some music to get you into the spirit.

Now, do what you have to do, but find a way to get your hands on this movie.
